The neighbourhood centre is an easy to reach meeting place where residents can turn for guidance, information, referral to care and a wide range of educational and social activities. Sentro di Bario also organises activities that encourage people to meet, develop talents and strengthen the bonds within the neighbourhood.
The initiative is open to everyone who needs support. People without valid residence documents can turn to it as well for information, guidance and a referral to suitable help and services. A humane approach is central, with attention for the basic needs and the wellbeing of every individual and family.
